Soil Assocation BOOM Award Finalist

Our Family run farm, has made it through to the finals of the Soil Association’s prestigious BOOM (Best Of Organic Market) awards.

George and Cate Bennett are the husband and wife team behind Sandy Lane Farm’s success and are delighted to have got down to the final three in the ‘best organic farm over 10 hectares’ category. As Cate said: ‘we are absolutely thrilled to be in the finals. As a family, we’ve been growing delicious, organic veg in harmony with nature for over 30 years now and it’s lovely to receive recognition for all the team’s hard work and dedication out in the fields’.

We are a traditional mixed farm, putting soil health and biodiversity at the heart of our farming methods and have our own farm shop as well as supplying ten mile menu’s veg box delivery scheme, which operates in Oxfordshire and South Bucks.

The BOOM awards celebrate organic producers and farmers all across the country and we will be taking on Godminster Cheddar and Low Sizergh Farm in Cumbria in the best farm category. The winner will be announced on the 8th of July.
